This humidor is encased in a dark and exquisite burl wood coupled with an ultra-deep finish consisting of 14 layers of lacquer giving it an extraordinarily deep gloss finish. The combination of these attributes give the Dome Olmo an astoundingly deep and unmatched appearance. One of the most distinguishing features of the Dome Olmo's design is its "dome" shaped top which beautifully compliments its appearance. Since the Dome Olmo carries a true wood inlay, no two humidors are ever exactly alike. This humidor is fully lined with solid spanish cedar, includes a brass hygrometer, oblong humidifier, and solid brass gold plated internal locking hinges. The Dome Olmo is fabricated with the strictest standards - the finish & construction are impeccable. This is a well made humidor with a SUPERB design. Great humidor, but horrible customer service. I custom ordered a name plate with my order and the font was incorrect, more importantly the name was misspelled. I submitted a claim through the contact us entry at the bottom of the page. I did not get a single reply for my misspelled name plate. This is the third humidor I order from 1st Class, and probably my last.

I wasn’t going to pursue the issue until I received an email from 1st Class asking for a review of my recent purchase. (Posted on 11/5/21)

Very pleased with the Dome Olmo. It is well constructed and maintains a tight seal, even with the Cigar Oasis 3.0 humidifier ribbon cable. Finish is nice. Cigar storage capacity is reduced by almost 1/3 with the Cigar Oasis, but enough room remaining for my typical inventory. Cigar Oasis is pricey but worth it: it keeps humidity constant at 70%. I got the humidor as a present when we had our daughter. It is beautiful and my husband loves it! When ordering the name plate, it comes desperately so you can place it on the humidor yourself and we opted not to put it on because it is made of plastic and is very small. I ended up having the humidor itself laser engraved with his initials. We were extremely happy with our purchase! It's now filled with "it's a girl" cigars :)! (Posted on 12/5/17)

I really like my humidor. It arrived safely as the packaging was fantastic. I guess they actually know what shippers do to packages. The fit and finish is excellent and provides a nice seal where as it takes just a little effort to open it. Plenty big enough for all my cigars. I love it! The gauge it comes with is a tight fit in the hole but after trimming the rubber o-ring with an x-acto knife it works just fine. I rely more on the digital one I installed on the lid anyway. Bought this humidor for my husband's 30th birthday - and paid the extra for the personalized name plate.

When it arrived I was delighted with the quality of the humidor - the finish is excellent, and it is a beautiful piece. I haven't seen any as nice as the Dome Olmo in shops.

It arrived today and it really finishes it off, it's exactly what I'd been looking for in the first place.

I recived the humidor within a acceptable amount of time, three days. I spent three days seasoning it by using a Xikar DryMistat tube. I calibrated the hydrometer by the salt method. It holds the humidity perfectly. Very happy with it! (Posted on 1/13/15)

Read the instructions on how to set up a new humidor. Placed it on the shelf and after the second day, it had stayed steady 69% humidity, so I loaded my collection of cigars. Now stays at 70%. Great product in addition of looking stunning.
