Great customer service. I purchased this a few weeks ago and it holds the humidity at 70. I also bought the cigar oasis excel 3.0. Its a tight fit but it works great. The unit is quiet. PROs: Quality product. Fair price. Fast and free shipping. I'm able control temperature and humidity which makes a huge difference in my cigars. Easy to operate and maintain. Wish I would have invested in this product years ago. I definitely would recommend this humidor.

CONs: The humidor doesn't hold the amount of cigars as advertised but I was able to stock 5 boxes of cigars which is still adequate for my use. (Posted on 5/5/22)

I have been using this unit for about 2 weeks & it works as advertised & doesn’t seem to have any problems.

My only issues are the hygrometer was off by 3pts & the door hinges need relocated so the door doesn’t need to open past 90* to get the drawers out.

The unit seems to hold stable temperature & humidity. well. With summer approaching the temperature will be put to the test. (Posted on 4/28/22)

I purchased a Clevelander Humidor and couldn't be happier. I've had many humidors over the years, but nothing compares to this "cool" idor. The cigars stay at the right humidity AND the right temperature! I would highly recommend it. And as for 1st Class Cigar Humidors, they are truly 1st Class! I have had conventional humidors for many years, and have had constant problems with humidity. I decided to try the Clevlander and I have been extremely pleased . The RH is perfect, I no longer have dry cigars and I feel the unit is well worth the price. The quality is great and customer service is superb- with a big thanks to Joyce who was responsive to all my questions in a timely and informative fashion. I would definitely recommend this humidor. If you are looking for a 1st class humidor that is trouble free The Clevelander is made to order.
The humidor is extremely well constructed and holds a lot of cigars (probably around 175 - 200).

Like many, I had a few small cases for a few cigars. I often discovered wrappers were dry and brittle and I was convinced this was caused by lack of humidity and high temperatures. I decided to purchase a "real" humidor and it was a great decision. Process was simple and I received great advice by email back and forth until I landed on The Clevelander. This is a great humidor! This keeps your sticks cool and humidified exactly how you like them! Believe it or not, thanks to wonderful customer service (kylie), you do not need a separate humidifier. The water tray that comes with the Clevelander works great.

When you season it for the first time wash the inside of the unit as well as the trays with distilled water. Fill the tray with water and close the door. Let it run overnight. If the humidity is high the next day, like 80%, then the trays have soaked up the right amount of moisture and it's time to dial it in.

I recommend placing a second hygrometer inside for comparison. Open the door until the humidity level reaches just below or at your ideal level. Refill the tray if necessary. Place a piece of plastic wrap over 3/4 of the tray. Check the humidity every hour. If it's too high pull the plastic wrap so that the opening is smaller. It it's too low open it up. The opening to your water tray will adjust how humid it will be. Mine sits about 3/8 inch open.

*Optional* Once dialed in I put a small block of aromatic cedar in the water tray. Just let it float. This will release just the right amount of that sweet cedar smell !!

It is a wonderful unit and now that I don't have to worry all the time about temperature and humidity levels, it makes my cigars much more enjoyable and relaxing!

If you buy more expensive cigars for your own private stock then this unit is the way to go. Controlling humidity is only half the battle maintaining cigars, temperature control is also important "The Clevelander" will do both. I have had mine now for a few weeks and am pleased with its operation. I did have a couple glitches, but fixed them easily myself. One of the 3 draws had a slat off the bottom, I just put a couple drops of super glue on it and it is like new. I also purchased a Oasis Excel electric humidifier for this unit to make the whole package worry free. Customer service was good and the shipping was quick and FREE. Works great! I love the easy to read gauges, it would of been better if the light was on the side of each level. This way you could see everything. With the top location of the light it's only good for the top shelf.

I'm also not so sure about fitting 250 cigars in here, but 160 is no problem, with room to breath, I purchased the Cigar Oasis Plus, which is over kill, but I love the fact that no matter how many times I open the door, and the levels drop around four points. It jumps back to 70% quickly with the Oasis.

I'll have no problems ageing any cigars with this combo. (Posted on 2/1/17)
